About Educate Hawaii

Aloha Kakou! This website has been developed in part to educate the public on the Native Hawaiian culture. It is our vision that the perpetuation of the culture and language remain for the next generation of Hawaiians. It is our hope that this site serves to answer your questions and incites your mind to think about the issues of the Hawaiian population.

On this site you will find resources for research, links to numerous other sites, and technological enhancements for your computer. In this 21st Century, it is important to utilize resources which are available. With the Internet now being a primary means of information "gathering," it is only fitting that a site for students, educators, and the general public, be availble for use.

This site only offers information and does not impose any belief on anyone. This site does contain controversial information on Hawaiian issues and it is up to you to determine what it is that you believe. We hope that all who find their way to this humble site come with an open mind and with aloha.

For Students and Teachers:

A special welcome to you! As you all learn from each other and you gather information for your classes, you may find this information to be useful. We encourage all teachers and students to take advantage of the plethora of information availble to you. Learn all you can and remember, by education you can never say again that you do not know! With this education comes responsibility. It is up to you, the next generation of Hawaiian students and teachers, to learn and pass down this information. Thank you teachers for giving so much to your students! Thank you students for taking the time to learn!
